With a choice of elegant rooms, The Guildhall is perfectly suited to weddings of all sizes — from smaller, intimate ceremonies to larger celebrations for up to 120 guests. The grand staircase and Georgian interiors create the perfect backdrop for photos. Just a 2 minute walk away from the Guildhall is the beautifully ornate and landscaped Parade Gardens with its impressive views over the River Avon and iconic Pultney Weir. Or for my personal favourite, taking a walk amongst the beautiful side streets near to the Bath Abbey!

The Guildhall works particularly beautifully for couples who want a wedding or elopement that feels elegant and meaningful without necessarily having a huge celebration. There are intimate ceremony options available, including the Jane Austen Room, Abbey View Room and The Georgian Room. For a low-key celebration, be it cocktails and canapés or private dining, there are many fantastic restaurants close-by such as; The Ivy, The Huntsman, Browns & The Architect.

We’ll then take a short walk with just the two of you, where we can stop off at some of the best spots in Bath for some relaxed, informal couple photos.
